What is heat-sealing film?

Heat-sealing film is a plastic film used for heat sealing. After the film is heated, the items to be sealed are sealed by the film, making them waterproof to a certain extent and extending their service life. 

Heat-sealing film has the following important performance requirements:

1. The heat-sealing starting temperature should be low to meet the requirements of high-speed automatic bag-making and filling machines;

2. The heat-sealing film should have good cold and heat resistance;

3. The heat-sealing strength should be high;

4. The heat-peeling strength should be large and the heat-peeling distance should be small. Under the effect of mechanical tension during heat sealing, the heat-sealed part should be very small when it is peeled off again;

5. It should have good heat-sealing properties for inclusions. The heat-sealing surface should still have good heat-sealing strength even if it is contaminated by oil and dust;

6. The dynamic and static friction coefficient should be between 0.2 and 0.4 to facilitate sufficient filling of powdery and viscous liquids;

7. It should have good resistance to breakage of packaging.

In some special packaging, such as coffee packaging, meat packaging, skin packaging, etc., some special heat-sealing materials are used, and heat-sealing film is one of them.
